Personal Response: Baby Llama starts of fret when his mother does not come right away when he calls. This story sings the truth of every mother with a little one that worries then they have to wait. This story is a straightforward lesson to little ones that patient is needed sometimes. It is a great bedtime story that reassures children telling that even if mama is not in sight they are still safe and loved.

Student Journal Entry: Write about a time you needed your mama!

Activity: Why is it good to be a patient person? Rewrite this story but make Baby Llama patient. What might he have done instead of pout and shout?
